Sam joined MCA at the start of 2021 when we increased our Account Management team with some new business wins. He has worked in senior account roles at marketing agencies and most recently in marketing partnerships for Live Nation for the best part of ten years. His experience ranges from launching brands, developing live events and experiences, as well as delivering partnership rights for clients such as JTI, Coca-Cola, Samsung, American Express and O2.

Joining MCA in 2018 to run our huge Reckitt Benckiser business, Stefan has three decades working in marketing roles in mainly food and drink FMCG. He headed up marketing teams of respected brands such as PepsiCo, United Biscuits, Pizza Hut and Premier Foods delivering ongoing growth and success. He has had success in building customer loyalty, sales and profitability, and developing long-term platforms for growth.

Cath joined MCA in 2019 to help in business development as we expanded our services into new and innovative service offerings. With the win of a major global client, she moved on to become global client lead. Her main experience within advertising has been in decoupling projects for global clients, onboarding new stakeholders, restructuring of clients’ advertising ecosystems and contributing to numerous pitches that have resulted in successful partnerships with global clients. Before joining MCA, she worked with such clients as Microsoft, Philips, Nestlé, L’Oréal, Hasbro, Johnson & Johnson and Cisco.

Yas is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience in the media sector, particularly within creative agencies. He has a profound passion for business partnering and providing tactical insights to key stakeholders and senior management, which has driven transformation, growth, effectiveness, and efficiency across several organizations.

In March 2024, Yas joined Murphy Cobb Associates. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the finance and commercial functions, building strong relationships with the C-suite, senior leadership team, and department heads, transforming how the organization considers financial impacts in decision-making.

Previously, Yas served as Finance Director at independent agency Cult from October 2019 to February 2024. During his tenure, he significantly enhanced the company’s financial strategy, leading to transforming a loss-making organisation into a significantly profitable one. Helping the owners to achieve fundraising and eventually a partial sale.

Prior assignments include key senior financial roles within the advertising industry with, Creative Drive, Splash Worldwide, Dentsu Aegis Network, TMW Unlimited & Iris

Ian has over 30 years’ experience in advertising agency client service. He has worked at JWT on Unilever and PepsiCo, Publicis and Euro RSCG, where he led the Peugeot account, ran 18 global brands for Cadbury and was a key member of the Havas agency management team. He helped set up Hyundai’s European in-house operation, Innocean, and worked client side as a member of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Global Brand Team on the launch of the Phantom.

Pat started out in the business as a runner in a facility called Molinare in London in 1984. This is where he got his ground level training in production, post production, production technology & innovation such as Quantel Paintbox, and studio shoots.

He then joined the TV department at Saatchi & Saatchi London working on acclaimed ad campaigns for British Airways, Cadbury Schweppes, & Pilkington Glass. Pat then moved to JWT London as a TV producer and then JWT Paris. He then went for 6 years as producer at Michael Conrad & Leo Burnett in Frankfurt, Germany. He then came back to London joining BDDH as Director of Broadcast Production helping to win many awards including Gold at the British TV Advertising Awards and Cannes for clients such as Harley Davidson and the Co-op Bank. Pat then made the leap to client side where he was responsible for Procter & Gamble’s Beauty Care Advertising Production.

He re-joined Leo Burnett in London as Director of TV before leaving to help start up Adstream in Europe in 2003. In 2005 he set up his own consultancy MurphyCobb (MCA) with inaugural clients PepsiCo, Cadbury and Scottish and Newcastle, all brands of which are still with MCA today (albeit under different ownerships). MCA has continued to thrive, now supporting 100’s of brands across over 60 markets using the intelligence and innovation that sits at the heart of the business.

Pat has also been a pundit for TV and Radio stations such as LBC, BBC, Sky, and he has been asked to speak at major conferences around the world. Pats major passion is for radio, and he has been able to continue to be a radio DJ alongside his advertising career. His current project brings both his presenting skills and passion for innovation and advertising together in his podcast – theprodcast.com

Glykeria has over six years of experience in advertising, marketing and tech. She joined us in 2018 from Applight Ltd, where she launched the first social network based on gamification. Glykeria is a keen seeker of knowledge in all things digital and is currently working on her Masters at UCL in Digital Anthropology.

Anita joined MCA in March 2022 from her own production company, Upstart Films which she launched in 2000. During her career, she has worked on a number of large projects across sports, FMCG, automotive, energy, consumer electronics, IT, fashion. Anita has helped to set up global productions for some of the world’s most iconic brands including Citroen, Vodafone, Samsung, P & G, Unilever, Nestle, BBC sport and many more. Before starting Upstart she had an illustrious career with the following agencies: Young & Rubicam; Euro RSCG (now part of the Havas group);BBH, Lowe; TBWA.
