Global advertising production consultancy MurphyCobb has appointed Nick Manning as Chairperson.
Nick has a vast career in the advertising and media industry which spans more than 45 years. Founder of media consultancy Encyclomedia International, he was the former Chief Strategy Officer at Ebiquity, and Senior Vice president at MediaLink. He also co-founded and sold successful media agency Manning Gottlieb Media (MG OMD) in the 1990s and became CEO of OMD’s media operations.
Nick joins the senior team at MurphyCobb as the business celebrates its 20th anniversary and looks ahead to the future. He will play a vital role in the agency’s strategy which builds upon the reconvergence of creative, production and media.

Nick replaces Sophie Daranyi, who joined as Chair in August 2025.
