The biggest surprise was that this past week New Zealand has gone back into total lockdown for Auckland after 102 days virus-free. This illustrates how quickly plans can change. In Australia, production companies are handling the situation very well and the cost implications due to Covid are being accepted. Victoria remains in lockdown, NSW and Queensland are safe to continue production. The level of production is coming back quite quickly, resurrecting postponed campaigns. There will be permanent changes, such as fewer people on the shoot and less client attendance. Though the costs are high, due to the standard of living, there is still a very robust industry.
