Overall, this June has been one of the busiest months in the last 15 years in China as production resumed much sooner than other markets. Foreign directors cannot enter China at the moment, so they are limited to those located in China or remote directing. There has subsequently been an upsurge in local Chinese directors. Companies in China work with international clients regularly, roughly a 60/40 split against local. Some precautions have increased in and around Beijing due to local virus outbreaks but generally production is able to go ahead with live shoots. There are no specific guidelines for on-set protocol and subsequently shoots are flexible.
