MCA were challenged to find a ‘new’ approach to execute a broadcast TVC for DACH countries for a popular premium soft-drink advertiser.
Their in-house team had created a campaign but as the client had less than £50,000 in the budget, they were resigned to a studio-only table-top shoot. Ideally, they wanted to match the feel of the previous campaign spot which cost £400k, with a “proper” shoot, in an exterior location, and on-screen talent and dialogue. Our imaginative solution managed to deliver just that.
Working within the client’s existing budget, MCA employed our “Production First” approach, choosing the production partner that could deliver a quality solution for the approved creative concept within the tight budget; we collaborated on selecting the best-value shoot location – Portugal. We cast the talent, then managed the end-to-end process of pre-prod, shoot, post-production, client approvals and delivery.
MCA delivered the client’s film within two weeks (with no client changes). All final costs were met within the original budget, including MCA’s production management fee.
